- JJ_JJSingapore, Singapore113 contributionsSkypointWent there to take a 360 degree view of the Gold Coast. Restaurant food were average but that wasn't the main point of my visit. Bought an observation deck entrance ticket with dining voucher. Transactions were easy and food were served fast! Enjoyed the view from the top! Thanks JJ-SG! We hope to see you back up the top again soon.Written January 3, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited December 2022Traveled with familyWritten December 22, 2022
- NZMartinsUpper Hutt, New Zealand208 contributionsGreat views and info, worth going upWell worth going up here. Cafe/restaurant at the top. Fast lifts. Great views all round as flor to high ceiling windows. Maps of floor saying which direction you were facing and various points in the World and how far they were. Exhibition on the origins of surfing in the Gold Coast was really interesting. Weather wasn’t good when we went up but still able to see quite a way. If your over 60 you get special rates - senior which are cheaper than the discount rates, so ask everywhere you go!Hi NZMartins. Thanks for the review. Sorry you didn't have great weather but the view is great no matter the cloud! Hope to see you back again in the not too distant future.Written May 2, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited July 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten February 5, 2023
- Jun Z1 contributionScary liftWe had a scare with the lifts yesterday. My family (with a 14 month old) boarded the lift to go to the deck. The lift went haywire as it moved up and down several floors without stopping. We were in the lift for more than we should. We pushed the call button but no answer until we reached the bottom floor again. The attendant at the bottom did not know what had happened so we boarded the other lift.Dear 743junz. Thank you for sharing your review. SkyPoint's elevators undergo regular rigorous testing and preventative maintenance to ensure our guests are using some of the safest lifts in the country. From your description the elevators safety processes were initiated to ensure you and your family were safe at all times and returned to the ground floor. We appreciate this can cause a scare and apologies for this. Your feedback has been passed on to our elevator service provider to further investigate further.Written May 2, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited March 2023Traveled with familyWritten March 8, 2023
- Traveller71Marlborough Region, New Zealand5 contributionsViews 1/10 service at the cafe 2/10Great views but don’t expect any customer service from the cafe/bar. One of the guys behind the bar had great pleasure telling everyone ( me included) to go back to their table and use the QR code to order from their phone. In the time it took him to do this he could have just served them. We watched him for at least an hour consistently telling anyone who came up to him at the bar. He looked so pleased with himself. Not sure he understands what the hospitality industry is all about. Unlike the lovely girl who serviced me our drinks as I wanted to pay by cash.Dear KParsonsK. Thank you for providing this feedback. It has been passed onto our Food and Beverage team to use as training with our team to continually improve our service.Written May 2, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited March 2023Written March 20, 2023
- Kaz bTownsville, Australia73 contributionsNice views but that's itGreat views and a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would say the only down side is that they didn't plan with some foresight that everyone would flock here to photograph the sunset. The part of the observation deck where the sunset is visible is quite narrow and becomes unpleasant with everyone trying to get photos/videos or walk by. Not enough seating for those wanting to sit down and have a drink or meal. We had to wander around to have our drinks. I was not offered a glass for my beer and had to ask, sparkling wine was clearly flat and it was only after asking for some that wasn't flat the bartender said "oh its a bit flat is it" with not one bubble visible in the glass. Some information around is interesting to read but outdated. With all the information provided on surfing, helicopters, local history, the information about Aboriginal history was summed up with just one sentence without even listing the local tribes name. Price to get up there is a bit on the high side at $23, locals get a discount and pay $15. Not really something I would do again.Thank you for leaving such valuable feedback to all.Written September 12, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 30, 2023

We weren’t sure we wanted to spend the money ($60 AUD for two adults, views only) but it was worth it. Stunning views from every angle! We went around 10:30am on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy, more people coming down than going up the express elevator. Recommend!

Recommend you arrive an hour before sunset and stay until the darkness sets in!
We bought online but still need to queue to enter!
Don’t recommend main meal, too crowded and no atmosphere and views blocked by all the view photographers!
However coffee and cake…baked New York cheesecake is nice!
The lift ride is interesting, as on the lift ceiling it shows/televises your journey through the floors up to the 77th floor!

If you do one touristy thing in Gold Coast, this is worth the cost.
We didn’t book and on clear skies, decided to spontaneously head up Q1 building - Skypoint observation deck - stunning outlook and views along the coast and hinderland.
Recommend taking your time and have a cocktail/bevy, few nibblies or a light lunch for a relaxing time to pass away the afternoon !

This was a fantastic thing to do. We purchased a meal deal ticket and had lunch at the top 77 floors up. The view from here is so magical and the ticket allows you unlimited entry for the whole day which means you benefit by being able to go up both in the day and at night.

Hi just wanted to confirm if you purchase Deck and Dine tickets there is no requirement to pre-book date and time, essentially you just turn up on the day and time you desire? Visiting from out of town and with overseas relatives so dont want to be disappointed. Regards Ange

Hi there, Sky Point state that parking is available at:
A short 6 minute walk from central Surfers Paradise and FREE undercover parking is available for visitors via Hamilton Avenue, disabled parking is available. Public parking is available nearby at Centro Surfers Paradise in Hanlan St or Bruce Bishop car park on Beach Rd. They do not state that there is onsite parking, you can ring and find out but as its short walking distance from Surfers Centro, Why not and when i have visited Sky Point i have just walked there.
