    Spectacular
This experience came as a package deal, I would never of thought to have came if it wasn’t. I’m so very glad I did!!! From the elevator ride to the first look out into the open it was amazing. Although I’m not a huge fan of heights the spectacular views makes you overcome this.
Amazing Leejay, thank you for leaving your review.

All day pass, see by day and night
This was a fantastic thing to do. We purchased a meal deal ticket and had lunch at the top 77 floors up. The view from here is so magical and the ticket allows you unlimited entry for the whole day which means you benefit by being able to go up both in the day and at night.
So happy you enjoyed your time and appreciate your feedback.

    Views spectacular
What a ride up...wish they had said look up as we entered the elevator. Lots of people on a sunny mid week morning but lots of seats to sit and look. Alot of reading to do if that's your thing too. Staff were happy too which says alot
Thank you for your valuable feedback and we are so happy you enjoyed your time with us.

does what it says on the tin...spectacular views of SP
The SkyPoint Observation Deck is located in the tallest residential tower in Australia. It is found on the 77th level of the Q1 hotel. The Observation Deck is 230m high and allows for 360-degree views of the Gold Coast. It takes less than 1 minute to reach the top! We didnt have any food or drink but just took in the views all around....see the pics.
Glad you enjoyed the view, and we appreciate your feedback.

77th floor panoramic 360 views from the Coastline to Hinterland
Recommend you arrive an hour before sunset and stay until the darkness sets in! We bought online but still need to queue to enter! Don’t recommend main meal, too crowded and no atmosphere and views blocked by all the view photographers! However coffee and cake…baked New York cheesecake is nice! The lift ride is interesting, as on the lift ceiling it shows/televises your journey through the floors up to the 77th floor!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

    Worth the money, stunning views!
We weren’t sure we wanted to spend the money ($60 AUD for two adults, views only) but it was worth it. Stunning views from every angle! We went around 10:30am on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy, more people coming down than going up the express elevator. Recommend!
Amazing thank you, glad to hear.

The Observation Deck speaks for itself. We have been on previous occasions. Magnificent and spectacular views. This time we decided to do the buffet breakfast which is only slightly dearer that just doing the Observation Deck on its own. What a find. A buffet breakfast on the Gold Coast for under $44. I thought it would be a limited buffet but I was wrong. It was a full buffet with hot and cold foods, cereals, toast, muffins, and desserts. Very impressed. We ate and then walked around to look at the views and came back to our seats and ate some more. Staff were attentive, courteous, and replenishing food all the time. Well done to all.
Thank you so much for leaving such a valuable review on our buffet breakfast. Do hope we see you again soon.

I’ve been here before almost 10 years ago and I loved it, so I wanted to bring my boyfriend now that we’ve come to Australia permanently

We arrived and bought our tickets in the hotel lobby and walked round to the entrance

The woman behind the desk took our tickets, and asked me if I had a T-shirt. I said no, and she told us that I might not be able to go up (I was wearing a floor length skirt and a crop top) I asked why, and that we weren’t advised about a dress code when we paid for the tickets and she wasn’t interested, said she’d asked somebody if I’d be allowed to go up

Meanwhile, the lady who was navigating the lift was gesturing me and my boyfriend to jump in as it was about to to (she was lovely, and didn’t mention anything about my outfit)

As she was talking us all through the features of the lift and the view point, another lady walked over and asked me if I had a T-shirt and that I might not be able to go up - in front of everybody in the lift

In the lift there was another girl wearing an almost identical top to me, but with shorts instead of a skirt, who hadn’t been asked about having a T-shirt. I asked why I was being penalised and not her, and the lady shrugged and asked if both me and the other girl would step out of the lift to be looked over so that they could decide if we’d be allowed up

I said to her “are you really going to embarrass me and this other girl like that in front of all of these people and make us step out of the lift?” and she shrugged again and told us to go up but that we might be “told off” by the staff upstairs and asked to leave

I got off the lift, walked back to the lobby and got a refund. The other girl I’m assuming stayed on and went up

If there were dress code signs, or a mention of it at the ticket station I wouldn’t be so annoyed but to have been singled out in front of a group of people because of my outfit was embarrassing and humiliating

Absolutely poor effort for what was supposed to be an amazing day out, showing my boyfriend the view point - something we’ve talked about for a long time

Disappointed doesn’t even cover it

Our visit was around 3pm on Thursday 11/01/24

Profit vs customer service. When questioned about the discounted rate applied from 730pm the manager was disinterested.

Great views and a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would say the only down side is that they didn't plan with some foresight that everyone would flock here to photograph the sunset. The part of the observation deck where the sunset is visible is quite narrow and becomes unpleasant with everyone trying to get photos/videos or walk by.
Not enough seating for those wanting to sit down and have a drink or meal. We had to wander around to have our drinks. I was not offered a glass for my beer and had to ask, sparkling wine was clearly flat and it was only after asking for some that wasn't flat the bartender said "oh its a bit flat is it" with not one bubble visible in the glass.
Some information around is interesting to read but outdated. With all the information provided on surfing, helicopters, local history, the information about Aboriginal history was summed up with just one sentence without even listing the local tribes name.
Price to get up there is a bit on the high side at $23, locals get a discount and pay $15.
Not really something I would do again.

If you do one touristy thing in Gold Coast, this is worth the cost.

We didn’t book and on clear skies, decided to spontaneously head up Q1 building - Skypoint observation deck - stunning outlook and views along the coast and hinderland.

Recommend taking your time and have a cocktail/bevy, few nibblies or a light lunch for a relaxing time to pass away the afternoon !
