Fantastic trip. We haven't been to the outer reef so can't compare with that, but saw turtles, reef sharks, giant clams and so many multi-coloured fish. All the crew were really friendly, helpful and informative. Would definitely go again.

This boat is much smaller than the other boat I took onto the reef and so there were less people. This definitely seemed less touristy than the bigger ships. The island they take you to is lovely and there’s plenty of space to snorkel and...More

The Wavedancer was totally overbooked. By the time we got to the island and put on the lycra suits (which didn't fit one of the family), the guided snorkelling trip had left. We went out on our own, trying to follow the tour guide to...More

Had a fabulous day out on the boat and snorkelling with my husband . The day was run perfectly. Great staff all with a sense of humour and love for their job. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. We...More

We split up as a group as some keen to snorkel while others keen to bird watch. Snorklers had a great swim in morning then lunch and another swim and snorkel in pm. Lots of fish and large clams. Others did glass bottom boat first...More

This trip didn’t really do it for us. It was much too crowded, which meant lots of long lines and the snorkeling area was much too small and aggressively patrolled by the life guards. This trip might be good for families with young kids, but...More

A more easy-going visit if the Reef with a big and comfortable vessel. The Low Isles have an actual sand beach. It's great for families with kids, older people and people who cannot swim because there is a boat shuttle to the beach and glassbottom...More

Ok this was my 40th birthday gift to myself. See the Great Barrier Reef; traveling single with 3 young kids. Its sounds relaxing. However even partnered parents know this is alot of work. This is why I want to give Wavedancer Crew the highest rating...More

I first visited Low Isle on the Great Barrier Reef in 1980 so when I had a chance to return earlier this month I jumped at the chance. The mode of transport is so much better these days but thankfully the Isles haven’t changed. It’s...More

We just left our phones in a bag onboard, we didn't take our wallets as there was no need for money although we did take some cash inside our phone case.
