Finished our vacation with this great trip into the beautiful countryside around Cairns. The whole day was informative, educational, and thoroughly enjoyable. Paul's knowledge of the area ensured that we got to see all sorts of creatures, trees, and plants. The platypus sightings where amazing,...More

My wife and I had an amazing tour with Paul who was a fountain of knowledge. As Australians we learnt many interesting facts about North Queensland's rainforest and wildlife and the night time tour allowed us to see a lot more. It was also the...More

I am glad you enjoyed it. We have so many rare animals, birds and reptiles around here that as you found even Australians have not heard of many of them. It is a very special piece of Australia here. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry about the menu options. You should have been given the full menu from the restaurant not our tour menu. That has lots of options from pizza pasta and a variety of mains including several vegetarian and even gluten free choices. As long as we...More

This was a great experience!. Although I live in the U.S., I have relatives living in the area and have seen quite a bit of Far North Queensland, but this tour was special. As others have noted, we saw a platypus and tree kangaroos, which...More

We always show people things that they have never seen before, even locals get a surprise with what lives round here! The night time is our special thing though. The road is cruel to some people so medication is advisable as noted. Thanks for the...More

Thanks for the recommendations. The night sky on a clear night is a special sight. Seeing platypus as often as we do always suprises Australians as they are seldom seen.

I could not have asked for anything more from my tour of Atherton Tablelands with Wait a while. We saw, literally, everything from tree kangaroos and possums to huge huntsman spiders and the elusive platypus. I was truly enthralled with the amount of wildlife that...More

There is a lot of wildlife around here, you just have to know where and more importantly when to look for it. That’s our specialty. Thanks for the recommendation.

Really fun tour, saw lots of wildlife, including the elusive Platypus! Our guide was very knowledgeable. Just bring some Dramamine if you tend to get car sick (roads are very curvy)

It is around 15-20 mins from Airport to Hilton. We pick up there between 1:30 and 1:45. So as long as your plane is on time you will be ok. It is not really possible to catch up to us in a taxi.
