This is a great way to explore Brisbane. The Service runs every half hour, takes you to the places of interest along the Brisbane River and best of all it is FREE.

We were in Brisbane city for the weekend and decided on a whim to take the City Hopper. Loved it. Started at North Quay and went to the end (Sydnet Street). Then came back across the river to Dockside where we alighted. Walked around Kangaroo...More

The City Hopper ferries run up and down the Brisbane River and are an inexpensive way to see the city [which has much to offer] from North Quay, past the Parklands to Sydney Street downriver there is plenty to see and you can hop off...More

This ferry service is a wonderful way to explore Brisbane. The service is frequent and free and on a nice day an incomprable way to enjoy the City.

A limited trip up and down the Brisbane River. Great to do at sunset and seeing the building lights turn on.

A FREE, quick and easy way of getting from one side of Brisbane River to the other, or spend a bit more time like we did, going from one end of the route and back.

A great free service to get you around the Brisbane area without battling the traffic. Punctual and clean.

It's a free cruise that goes up and down the river, from Sydney St Pier to North Quay. It's quite slow but if you're not in a hurry, it's quite nice to just enjoy the river.

Great for viewing Brisbane from another angle and for getting around easily. Runs frequently and efficiently. This is a little red boat, not to be confused with some of the other boats.

Good to know this free service exists. Runs about every 30 mins in the cbd section of the river and is easy to spot.

Yes it is possible and very close but if you are trying to get to Southbank from Queen Street Mall (Myer centre) you could easily walk and it would be quicker and easier than using ferry (due to pick up and drop off... More

You are better off getting a taxi from Fortitude Valley train station where there is a taxi rank nearby.
