Very educational & informative. Visit the museum building, explore the vessels. Maritime past & present from steam to recent. Look out for the special days when there are re-enactments - great for children. Visit South Bank & the river while there.

We enjoyed it immensely . Was a spur of the moment thing,just happened upon it. It was really interesting. Found the staff helpful and informed.

If you are the side of South Bank, give this place a visit if you into boating history, it short a short walk from the cafes and man made beach. They have very interesting things on display.

Jam packed full of artifacts, models and information this museum was a treat. There is an internal museum and an external ship that you can walk through along side some other bits and pieces. Very friendly staff and volunteers. Pram and wheelchair friendly apart from...More

We left our visit a bit late in the day so more time would have been great. Even though there is a new bikeway going through their outdoor area, the exhibits are still accessible.

This had a couple of ships that you could walk around. They provided earphone so that you can hear specifics about each area. Talked about WW2.
