I am a photographer of birds and nature and I was excited to see a Tawny Frogmouth, nesting not far from the information centre, which I was able to get a few photos of. I enjoyed wondering along the paths listening to the many birds....More

This is a great place to take your dog for a walk, it’s really pretty the deeper you get in and it’s super quiet and your in amongst nature. Great dog tracks especially if your dog likes to mix a swim with a walk :)

Visited the Boondall Wetlands from Tumut (Snowy Mountains NSW) today and found it easy to access. Caz from the office was a wonderful help explaining where to go and what to see. I headed to the bird-hide and after 15mins was rewarded with great views...More

Absolutely love walking through the wetlands - the birdlife is amazing. Now all the council need to do is undertake the regenerative program to replace all the trees they took away for the upgrade to the motorway and it would be perfect.

Spent the day at the wetlands. Was really suprised at the access throughout and variation of habitats. Was able to wander without distraction and enjoy the viewing spots. The change in tides brought out more water life and with it the birds. As the paths...More

We went down as I had read that you can walk your dog which surprised me. You can have your dog on leash. It was a nice easy walk as it is flat all the way around.
