- Joy S5 contributionsAn excellent experience for localsWe took our grandchildren (ages 12, 10 and 7) on the City Hall tour and the Clock Tower tour on Tuesday. Shannon was amazing as a tour guide, keeping the children engaged the whole time. We had lunch at Marhaba, and that was a great experience as well. The kids also enjoyed the City Hall museum and gallery. A very worthwhile outing!Visited April 2023Written April 8, 2023

It is at Level 3 of Brisbane city hall building via King Grorge Square entrance. The building also houses the very unique Shingles Restaurant, where people come mostly in the daytime for tea and scones.Visited April 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 27, 2023
- Morten S2 contributionsEffective outline of the towns historyVery nice little museum. Artworks combined with informative posters gives a quick overview over the history and development of Brisbane. Good idea with the historic pub, but it must be developed further, now it is a dead and sterile room, very far from a lively meeting place.Visited January 2024Traveled soloWritten January 5, 2024

A lovely museum, which we hadn't realised was tucked into the Town Hall. Fascinating history and some quirky exhibits too. Do glad we came

Local Art work on display was beautiful along the well restored City Hall with impressive Auditorium. Strongly recommend the City Hall Tour.

The museum had some interesting art works as parts of its exhibitions. There are some great images from the genesis of Brsibane which i found most interesting. A small but worthy museum.

No entry fee - amazing. Make sure you go up the clocktower. Unfortunately, the perspex makes taking good photos difficult, but the view is excellent.

The Museum of Brisbane is within City Hall itself. It’s a modest-sized museum depicting the history of the city, including its military and indigenous history. Definitely worth it if you have a bit of time.

Great display of local artists and history, awesome shop with some beautiful pieces. Don’t try and find it via the stairs though! Just take the lift and don’t get lost like me!
