Our first full day in Brisbane and raining so where else would we go?! An excellent place with brilliant art, especially the local artists. The venue is also free to enter. This place trumps London by a large degree! Nice cafe with some wonderful food...More

We spent so much time in the indigenous art section, we had no time for the rest. The Hermannsberg potters were a stand out. Lin Onus's Morumbeeja Pitoa (Floods and moonlight) will stay in my memory for many years. So evocative.

Just a great Gallery well run and so open and accesible to the public. We visited on a Sunday and were amazed at the number of visitors - young and old - local and overseas visitors. Congratulations to the Management and staff.

This Gallery has a varied collection providing a contemplative atmosphere and well presented. A few more benches for those of us of a certain age would be much appreciated!

Each time we go, there is something new to discover! Very interesting indeed, and free! There are always staff around keeping a careful eye on what you do, but are always friendly and helpful.
