This is a very nice and large church in the style you so often see in Engand and France with a large vaulted ceiling. The church is generally open for visitors and was a great place to escape some sporadic rain showers the day I...More
A visit to St John's provides visitors with an insight into some of Brisbane's history,The building is an excellent example of church building of the past albeit much of the building has been extended decades later.
This beautiful cathedral has an interesting history. Be sure to take the guided tour with the very helpful guides. The gift shop has some great gift ideas and the volunteers are very helpful.

We did not get to go inside and tour, but we were able to see it up close and it was awesome. Wish we could have taken a tour I am sure it would have been worth it.
The cathedral is beautiful, especially the coloured glass windows. Easy to find along Ann Street. Worth a visit.
This old cathedral is magnificent with its spires and bell tolls. The inside is also an inspiration well worth a visit.
