Located in a very nice locale, the place has a lot of interesting Australian art, with some excellent temporary exhibits. A bit smaller in extent and scope than what I expected, but still worth a visit.

The displays at the museum are always changing and it's a great place to take the kids or visitors to Brisbane. The best thing is that it's free and wheelchair friendly.

The museum has been designed to appeal to all age groups and is packed with historical information pertaining to that part of Australia. A must do if in Brisbane, particularly with younger children.
