Very clean ferries, on time, with very friendly staff. This certainly is a very easy way to get around Brisbane, via the river. Fares are reasonable and you have a 2 hour window within which to jump on and off ferries on the one ticket....More

Timed travel on a commuter ticket on the Brisbane River must be the cheapest way to appreciate the River City. Enjoy the gentle travel to a variety of stops from Portside up River to The University of Queensland.

If you want to see the beautiful sights along the river than take the City River Cat, an excellent way to travel up and down the river, you can hop on and off and take in the wonderful sights.

Definitely go on these convenient water taxis. There are free and save you a lot of walking. You can even just go out on a pleasure ride. Nice addition to a city on a river.

With a 4.5yo and 14 yo in tow, we spent some hours just joy-riding the ferries. Staff were friendly, efficient and informative. Vessel was clean and tidy, and the ride very smooth

Went up the river and was very enjoyable. Great scenery from the river and comfy seats were a big plus.

Clean, reasonably priced and the cats come regularly enough. Also the locals use them so good way to mix and feel what the city is like.

Hi, the fare really depends on whether you have an existing GoCard holder or if you're a tourist, student, concession card holder or senior citizen. Best to check the Translink website for specific details.
