Looking out over the ocean this is well worth visiting. There are a lot of items displayed to tell the history of Darwin, particularly during WW2. This includes the evocative war memorial.

Nice park with memorials scattered along its length. Some of these are quite underwhelming - just a stone with an embedded plaque - think we expected a bit more.
Very little shade, which is an issue when it’s 33 degrees & 85% humidity. A cafe would be a welcome addition at some point along its 1 mile length.

This is a lovely park alongside the waterfront, we didn't manage to see all the attractions that the park has to offer, the afternoon heat and humidity too much for aged bodies. It certainly is lush with vegetation and meticulously maintained. Great paths used by both pedestrians and cyclists, lovely spots to enjoy a picnic as a number of families seemed to be doing, children's play areas, various monuments and the Cenotaph. For those of us unused to the Darwin summer climate, best to visit in the cooler months.

A nice park next to the legislative assembly building. It is on the water, and there are informative placards that explain Darwin's history (particularly regarding WWII).

This is a lovely, well kept park with a beautiful view out to the ocean. The kids playground is excellent with activities for children of all areas. It is shaded as well. We joined in park run here too

We enjoyed visiting the park, which was across the road from our hotel. We also enjoyed visiting Darwin parkrun which conducted in this park every Saturday morning at 7am. The locals were very welcoming and it was a fun experience. The gardens are well maintained and it is a pleasure to visit.

These lovely and extensive gardens stretch along the Esplanade. They are well kept and with a well graded walking track, scattered monuments including the cenotaph, plenty of seating, a fabulous children's playground and delightful views across the water. Ideal for a pleasant stroll on a balmy evening!

Worth a visit when you first arrive in Darwin - history of Darwin during WWII bombing, wonderful water views, some mangroves at one end of the walk and a great adventure playground for the children. I use it as a place to chill out after a busy day.

Beautifully manicured with walking paths which have lots of information on Darwin during the wars. Lovely open spaces as well of lots of shade and picnic tables
