Heaps of really good food, souvenirs, handmade jewellery, some music, shows for kids and of course beautiful sunsets! There is something for everybody just be aware that the stalls will sometimes change their place in case you’re coming back and trying to find a certain...More

We came to the Sunset Market and I was really impressed with all of the food options. Everything we tried was delicious and even the crafts were good too, something I usually not interested in at all.

We really enjoyed walking through the stalls. We got there before the market officially opened so we got to preview everything before the crowds arrived. We left to go visit Aquascene and came back after the stalls officially opened. It was our last night in...More

We are not ‘market people”, I never look at the tatty stalls with goods I never need or want, but Mindil Beach Market attracted us because of the food stalls which offer many types of cuisine. Luckily we took a backpack with wine, beer and...More

The market was lovely and watching the sun go down on the beach was a great experience, lovely food stalls and entertainment stalls but the bus service stopped after 9 so we had to either walk back to the CBD or get a $15.00 taxi...More

Parking is limited. The stalls are what you would expect, a mixture of food, trinkets, junk and tarot. Music is good. Access to the beach is easy. Can get very crowded and not really worth standing in a slow moving herd.

The obvious attraction is the amazing sunset. However there are lots of other things to see - the Raw Didge busking performance displays a very talented drummer and didgeridoo player with a modern twist; other musical performances; many food stalls; local indigenous Artwork and other...More

Crowded, average quality overpriced food and difficult to find parking unless you are very early. Salvaging factor was the mandatory good Darwin sunset.

Locals love Mindil Beach Markets and so will you! It’s a true taste of the top end with multiculture events, food and stalls of all kinds. Great for kids and families, friends. Everyone! Get down before the famous Darwin sunset. You won’t be dissaapointed here.....More

Open during this period over the dry season Thursday & Sunday nights 4pm - 10pm well worth the visit. If driving you’ll need to get their early for a park, hope this helps regards Wayne.
