Plenty of food based options at this market and whilst we only tried a couple they hit the mark. Picked up a few gifts for those back home and then made our way to the beach to watch one of the famous Darwin sunsets.
The location and content of the market was good, lots of different food options and also craft stalls and performers. The only down side was that the food was quite expensive for market/street food however the experience of taking it to the beach to watch...More
Not only do the food vendors cater for all tastes the arts and crafts stalls are varied and appeal to all ages, then there is the beach. We arrived early which gave plenty of time to stroll around browsing the stalls and deciding what to...More
Glad we arrived into the NT on a Sunday to be visit these fabulous markets!!! Authentic artisan market stalls and so many yummy food stalls. Loved the indigenous music and the oh so amazing NT sunset that never disappoints!!
It was lovely walking around this huge market. Lots of stalls, lots of different food on offer, people performers doing their thing for the crowds and the beautiful sunset. Enjoyable afternoon / evening.
This is a superb market, with food stalls serving freshly cooked food from all over the world, with Aboriginal buskers and other great music. Parking was easy. The highlight was the am azing sunset on the beach.
Definitely a Darwin must-do in the Dry Season.
We went down for the sunset which was amazing. The market has a nice atmosphere and there are some good food stores there. The goods for sale are typical market stuff.
The highlight for me was the sunset.
Get there early before the rush.
Good parking but again get there early.
Some specialty stalls and lots of food wagons, mostly Asian.
We enjoyed the fruit salads, fresh mango and mango lassi.
There are various entertainers, buskers but by far was the guy playing...More
