We visited twice whilst on our recent trip The Sunday night was quieter with the Thursday night being busier but manageable The food range and quality here is excellent, we were left wanting a tasting plate for the many options there, making a decision became...More

Although we did not fall in love with Darwin itself, Mindil Beach and Market was certainly a highlight. There is a real buzzing atmosphere in the market with a wide variety of food stalls offering everything from Croc Burgers and Pizza to Vietnamese street food....More

I enjoyed my visit to the market. After looking at each decided to have Gado gado and a mango smoothie which we ate while sitting on the bapeach watching a spectacular sunset!

My partner and I (Aussie, age 33) stayed right next to these markets at the SkyCity Casino (so we walked, literally about a 200m, flat walk along beach path). Loved the atmosphere of these markets. THE SUNSET IS ONE OF THE BEST I’VE SEEN. Various...More

It's a fun market - yes mainly filled with tourists but that's why we go... Lot's of uniquely Australian things, some great displays of wild animals (snakes, lizards) and beautiful colourful birds. The street food has quite a variety and is very nice

Missed it last year by a week because of the season, so made sure I visited this year. As amazing as everyone says. Grabbed a paella and sat on beach to watch the sunset. Great end to my Darwin Trip

Not too many stalls selling garbage imported products. Good selection of locally produced jewellery and crafts. Good massage services at reasonable prices. Good variety of food. A laksa on the beach to watch the sunset is lovely. Will go again :-)

We flew into Darwin on a Sunday afternoon on our way to Timor Leste. We went to the Waterfront, then headed to the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets. The place was abuzz with both tourist and locals. There was an electrified didgeroo concert, as well as...More

Plenty of food options at all the different stalls that will suit the fussiest of eaters. Great stalls with friendly staff all the way along. All this with the beach backdrop and a beautiful sunset. No wonder the place has such a good vibe.

Open during this period over the dry season Thursday & Sunday nights 4pm - 10pm well worth the visit. If driving you’ll need to get their early for a park, hope this helps regards Wayne.
