Yarraman Territory brings a unique opportunity to participants, using our equine team members to engage, inspire and motivate participants. These experiences have positive outcomes including transference to life skills, improved wellbeing and practical skills in rural industries. My partner & I had a great day thanks to the crew at Yarraman territories it was a great chance to learn new riding techniques thanks 4 all the information on becoming a ringer. This was totally different to what we were expecting & a great way to experience NT.

Amazing outback experience

I booked the "Become an NT Ringer" experience while I was up in Darwin, and it was the absolute highlight of my trip!
Marc is super lovely, experienced, and knowledgeable in so many areas, and very clearly cares about his animals. The horses are very well trained and responsive. "Covid" (the horse!) took very good care of me while I was getting my confidence back in the saddle.
I’d never campdrafted or worked with cattle before, and I felt like learned a lot in the time we had - it was a real outback experience. And it was lovely to finish off the morning with a beer after the trail ride! I’ll definitely come back next time I’m up north.

Thankyou Mark and Lacey, Yarraman Territory provides an ideal setting for anyone wanting an opportunity to develop their horsemanship skills and experience.
The horses are well looked after and trained to suit individual level of rider capability and confidence. Mark takes thoughtful consideration of which horse will suit each rider whether they are a younger child or an adult at varying levels of experience.

My 8 year old loved it! Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back. First time ridding and couldn’t have been done better. Not for kids that don’t listen.

Awesome riding school

My daughter has been riding with Yarraman Territory for 18 months now and she loves it. There is a variety of horses to ride and Marc and the team make every riding experience both educational and fun. She loves the trail rides, steer handling, the games and of course, trotting.

Not having ever had any riding experience I was quite nervous to say the very least, but meeting Marc and the community at Yarraman helped me feel completely at ease. It was an absolute joy being there for my first riding experience and having the guidance from Marc. I will be going back without a doubt :-) thanks Yarraman Territory!

Wonderful, relaxed & enjoyable horse riding lesson.

My child loves going to Yarraman Territory. Small group sizes & one horse for each child means a full hour with a horse, learning about how to care for a horse & how to lead them & how to ride them. Mark is wonderful with children & horses & is very relaxed making for a relaxed & enjoyable experience. We will definitely book in again & would definitely recommend Yarraman Territory.

Throughly Enjoyed It!

Really enjoyed the lessons. Really great for a beginner and didn’t make us feel stupid for not knowing basic things. Enjoyed it and will continue to do more lessons. Horses felt safe and the whole family enjoyed. Thanks again

Great exposure for kids

My 11yr old niece had her first horse riding experience and I can't thank Marc enough for his patience and his approach to teaching a young, nervous child. We've already booked our next lesson!
