We happened upon this beach during our river walk along the Murrambidgee River during a June visit to Wagga. Not a soul was there; we saw a guy kayaking by. Good place to watch birds. This is a very well-appointed facility - shelters, parking, RV...More

The beach and surrounding area contain many places to walk and relax, we found a quiet place in the sun with seats and a table to enjoy a picnic lunch

Lovely place to visit on a hot day. Only paddled as we did not have our bathers. Plenty of shaded areas to sit and watch the river. Picnic tables available as well.

So close to town to enjoy a quick picnic lunch and refreshing swim. Current was very strong so perfect for a float round the point. Large sandy beach, plenty of shade, easy access from our hotel.

When in Wagga on a nice sunny day, be sure to drive to Wagga beach, and sit and enjoy the ambience, this place is great for a picnic, swim, whatever. It is a huge area so you should find a spot among the locals.
