We were in Wagga for business and decided to visit the gardens. What we saw was nice, but most sections were closed by 3:45 on weekdays!!! Definitely check times before you visit, we were disappointed.

Not as inspiring as some botanic gardens can be but always pleasant and well kept - dogs welcome and good paths extending up the hill

Great place to stop off. The zoo, aviary and gardens are excellent and they are free. There is also a kiosk to buy small supplies. A place worth visiting.

The gardens are well kept and a great spot for a walk or a picnic. There are plenty of shady spots to sit down at.

Thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the Botanic Gardens and through the zoo. If you have a couple of hours to kill, you should spend them here.

It’s free, no excuse not to check it out! Nice for a stroll, check out the flora and say g’day to the animals while you’re there. Let the kids run free or use it as an excuse to get away from the computer for an...More

Plenty of space to enjoy. Great activities, free zoo, great playground, plenty of bbq’s and General space for the kids to run around or even have a nice semi private picnic. Nice just to walk around and great that there are so many free activities.
