A memorial to men who went to war, and never came back should not be given a star rating. Rather rate it on the impact that it had on the veiwer.

These gardens looked quite lovely in there Autumn colours but most of all I was taken by the quality of the shrine. A lovely respectful shrine of remembrance complete with an eternal flame. Worth a visit and easy walking distance from most of the town.

Had a wonderful stroll through these gardens. So much of interest to read on the monuments as we went round. Good fountain and wonderful roses.
