Great service! Dave was excellent at taking us around the wineries and distilleries. He even went out of his way and squeezed an additional place in!

Would not travel with these guys again.
Make a mistake with our booking .. which happens but we had to call to see why we hadn’t been picked up.. missed the first two wineries .. barely any accountability for the mistake.. the whole group sat at the designated lunch stop unattended for an hour without being served and then had to move to next stop and receive a takeaway instead.
Longer than necessary drop off to get back to where we were staying after waiting for group members to pick up bagels enroute.
Very pleasant tour guide but the back end poorly organised . Disappointed

This was my second time using Hunter Valley Wine Tours and it again was excellent!!
I organised a tour for 20 of my friends for a 26th birthday. The booking process was extremely easy and the communication was impeccable. On the day, our driver was friendly, personable and flexible. We all had an amazing time and will be booking with HV Tours again very soon.

COVID; what can I say? They also had issues with drivers on the day but they dealt with it. "they call ne Bruce" was an excellent driver and ensured all passengers were safe despite a missing bus. For a basic tour they were great but if you wanted more ten you need to look beyond our choice.

Just finished a fabulous tour with Scott as our travel guide. Really lovely day. Very well organised but still felt relaxed. Very enjoyable.

Great tour. Went to quite a few places which was great including a distillery where we tasted vodkas and liquor different flavours.
Do not choose lunch included unless you want just pizza and salad and if you don’t eat pork or bacon and ham don’t choose this option.

I went with a tour group to the Hunter Valley wine country. We stopped at Ernest Hill Winery, where we received detailed discourse on wine tasting. Next we had lunch at Brewhouse followed by a wine tasting onsite. Finally, we visited McGuigan Winery, where we tasted some of their fine wines. We finished the day stopping by a chocolate shop and received free samples. We made a quick stop at a field to take pics of kangaroos, which was an unexpected pleasure. Ronn was a great bus driver and offered us lots of information about the area.

We only did the half day tour, Definitely don't drive if you do lunch and the full day. Very interesting including local historic commentary. Some nice wines at the 'cellar doors' though nothing spectacular going for a song. Cheese at the 2 fat blokes stop was nice.

Well run tour. About 12 of us were in a small van. We stopped at several wineries and had all the tastings we wanted. By the end, I couldn't drink anymore. The wine was good and everyplace was interesting. There was a fair bit of traffic when we returned to Sydney, but we were on time.

We booked a private tour with Peter as our guide. Loved it. Visited five wineries. Favourite wine Brokenwood. Best views Audrey Willinson
