Highly recommend this beach. Sensational swimming, plenty of space, tidal pool and walks on the rocks

We travelled a long way to come to the so called "freshwater" beach only to find that it was the saltiest water we had ever swum in along the Sydney coastline. What a deceptive and misleading names EVER. The ONLY freshwater we found was coming...More

Initially, I went to see McKillop Park, but because the sun was shining, and the weather was perfect, I decided to walk to Freshwater beach. From there first I went to Queens Cliff Bay beach, and continued to walk to Manly, South Steyne and finally...More

This was reckoned as one of the best beaches in Sydney. I planned a visit to this beach and was not disappointed. It has a dedicated swim area closely monitored by rescuers. The beach is clean and there are lots of families during the weekends....More

Managed some body boarding here with by brother and his wife, water was 22C luverly. Surf at time was not too big for me. There was beach guards on hand. Bit of history associated with this beach, this is where surfing started.

Picturesque little beach nestled between seaside cliffs. Safe and sheltered beach making it great for young kids. Like most Sydney beaches, this beach was crowded on the weekend we visited and we had to park a long distance from the beach - we needed another...More

Great beach for a surf especially for beginners. Everyone seems really friendly and it has a local feel to it. Loads of parking available.
