If you don't want to climb the bridge but you want the views this is for you. As a bonus you get a good view of the bridge climbers too.

Excellent history of the bridge and awesome views from the top. Photos are allowed unlike the climb.

Not too hard to climb those stairs if you take your time. No crowds and plenty of time on top to take all the photos we wanted- best way to get them of the Opera house- and enjoy the views of the harbor and bridge!

For $15 you can climb the pylon for great views of the bridge and the city. There is a small and interesting exhibition of the story of the bridge and the people that built it.

Stop at the Pylon Lookout for great photos of Sydney and especially the Opera House from above. Choose a windless day.

Myself, husband and 7 year old son had a fantastic time climbing the pylon. Love the history of the Sydney harbour bridge and the view from the top is stunning.

I got a ticket free due to doing the bridge climb but in hindsight I would have paid to do this. The views at the top are great (even in poor weather) and along the way there are numerous facts and artefacts explaining the history...More

What a find! This is a must do if you want to visit an iconic landmark and keep away from the crowds. It's informative and fascinating, cheap to enter and the views are breath taking. The viewing area is almost as high as the top...More

We walked across the Harbour Bridge and decided to take the Pylon tour. It was $15.00 each or $10.00 for pensioners. There are a lot of stairs but it is not difficult and they are several levels and plenty of places to stop and rest....More

After climbing the 200 steps - but in three levels so time to rest, you are rewarded with a great review at the top of the Opera House and a unique view of the Harbour bridge. Of note they do not accept cash only credit...More

The 200 steps are not high steps and there are 3 levels, so she won't have to walk all of them at once. There is no lift, unfortunately. Plenty of seating once outside. You need to factor in also the steps needed to get to... More

No need to buy tickets in advance, it’s usually not that busy. If you’re planning on doing the Bridgeclimb aswell, they’ll give you complimentary pylon entrance tickets. If I remember correctly the fee is about 15$ each... More
