Plenty of shop that cater for all different tastes. You can spend hours walking along window shopping. Lots of great food, bars and entertainment

There are some nice wall paintings around with good art. You will find some good quality small shops, bookshops, cafes, restaurants.

Newtown is fantastic and probably my favourite place in Sydney. It's full of small bookshoops, independent shops, etc. Absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend a visit.

Fortune of War, 137 George St Sydney appears to be the oldest bar in Sydney. The hotel ... since 1828. The bar's interior design looks fantastic. Worth visiting.
