This is a must see location when visiting Sydney City. Great shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, attractions and views. Jump on a Ferry and cruise to Circular Quay or head all the way to Parramatta

There are plenty to do in the area. Aquarium, zoo, museums & parks. 10 minutes walk to Queen Victoria Building if you want to do some shopping afterwards.

I agree with first response, you can walk (30-40) min but take the ferry for the best views of the bridge. The bridge is adjacent to central Quay, darling harbour is further inland and bridge is not visible from there.
