We always enjoy our walks around the North Shore Reserve from Fairlight which extend to Reef Beach or sometimes as far as Spit beach or Manly.
Todays "discovery" was the delightful Forty Beans Espresso Bar on Beach Lane where we enjoyed delicious rhubarb & yoghurt pots, then shared a delicious chocolate chip biscuit, yummy pecan pie, a fab mango smoothie and refreshing Peppermint Tea. We had a lovely time 😂😅

Reef Beach is a secluded but well known beach located in Sydney Harbour National Park on the northern end of Dobroyd Point.

The beach is just 80 m long and faces northeast toward Manly Cove and out through North and South Heads, the large cliffs that form the ocean entrance to Sydney Harbour.

The small cove provides excellent safe, gentle swimming, except during high seas, when the wash in through The Heads, can be a little rough.

The beach has to be accessed along a 500 m walking track from Beatty St. The track runs along a wooden walkway behind the beach, with two small sandstone promontories protruding onto the beach.

Reef Beach used to be an officially sanctioned nudist beach, but because this attracted voyeurs and some undesirable elements, nude bathing is now prohibited, and this is policed by Sydney Harbour National Park rangers
