Absolutely LOVE getting out to the Brindabella's - an hour max from Canberra, depending on where you go, for some of the nicest, most serene and scenic areas to spend the weekend. Great camping spots in Summer (bit chilly in Winter!!!)

Gorgeous lightly trafficked mountainous region w huge valleys and crystal clear streams. We went four wheeling on a track called Gentle Annie. Lets just say it wasn't so "gentle". Wish I had a fly rod. The water looks incredible and supposedly holds trout. This would...More
