visited this fort in feb.2018 .. nice fort with some temples and village type settlements inside .. nothing much to see inside the fort ..

A fortress where Tippu Sultan was born. We can see the ramparts under reconstruction and a will to restore the history of this place. Fortunately, the remains are apparent and can be partially restored.

First visit on an evening looking out for a temple and we landed here with many temples within. A walk on the fort wall is quiet refreshing . Its a full fledged village settlement within the fort than a place for tourist attraction

It is on the way to Nandi hills... approx 40 km from bangalore...but nothing is there to see except the entrance.... waste of time

It is located in Devanahalli Near Bangalore -Hyderabad Highway, Its looks good from outside, but there is nothing much to see from inside.

nothing to see at the fort itself really, but lets you take amazing pictures of sun going down as the fort is quite far above the grounds

Why, o why, can we not get our act together to preserve our beautiful heritage. The Fort looks quite lovely from outside... however when you enter the arch of the fort... lo and behold... there is a full town that has sprouted inside the fort....More
