my father used to go girivalam every month...chithra pournami girivalam was so special... so there was unexpected huge crowd for girivalam this month... if you circumulate the annamalayar hill with full divinity surely u will notice inner peace... 8 lingam temples were there in girivalam...More

Divinity of lord arunachleshwar and the girivalam temples by the side is imposing experience.Darshan was fairly easy with no long queue.Do not travel in summer.

Yes. You can. You will be circumbulating the hill. 90% don't wear slippers, some do.
