I took my daughter and her husband who are normally quite active and were looking for something to do that was a change from the pool and beach activities. The trail is mostly undercover so still good to do on a hot day as it...More

A gorgeous place! The waterfall is not that big but great to take a swim or just cool your feet after an exiting journey along the gorge.

We have visited Richtis George on July first, and almost gave up because of a dry river bed on the begining of the way, but slowly the water appeared and we continued. We have arrived from Malia and missed the road to the beach on...More

Me and my family parked near the stone bridge, since it would be a way longer walk if we parked at the top entrance. To get to Richtis Gorge you have to hike (so bring closed and comfortable shoes, also water that's the most important)...More

Very beautiful walk, and beautiful waterfall! We parked near the beach and walked to a bit further than the waterfall and back. We did this walk with 2 toddlers of 4 and 5. They absolutely loved every moment. A lot of climbing required if you...More

This gorge was very different from others we'd walked in the east. You can save yourself a long hot climb up the road if you park further down the hill by the bridge. A bit challenging in places but well worth the effort. Sadly no...More

The gorge itself is pretty and interesting but the footing is poor in places and the walk back up the gorge to the asphalt road may seem long on hot days.
