I strongly recommend to visit this place. You can visit several towers and even go up the one out tower. Also walls and secret way to water (40 meters tunnel) are available.

More impressive than Novgorod, because it has not been extensively reconstructed. The views are awe-inspiring from the many towers.

Old Izborsk is very beautiful, you can climb the towers of the fortress and get a stunning view on the surrounding forests and river, definetly recommend a visit!
