If your near by it worth doing it takes about 2-3 minutes to walk up and some of the views are nice. Don’t expect it to be breath taking though.

I took a pleasant walk up to the top of Mt St John Domain, talking in the sights and local history of the Maori culture & extinct volcano.

Great place to orientate yourself when first arriving in Auckland, interesting geology & landform ie extinct volcanoes. Panoramic views of city and seascapes.
