I wondered why they put 2 attractions next to each other. As I travelled from the Entrance area, I could smell the stench or foul smell coming out of the chicken coop. I felt like throwing up!

The foul smell appeared to die down as I walked towards the stairs, totaling more than 400! There are religious statues, cave-like entrance, then the angels, Jesus, and big cross.

These dramatic displays made me forget the stench I encountered earlier. Took a lot of pictures here.

If you're in the area and need a detour for a drink, then this might be worth a 45 minute stop but I wouldn't make this your prime destination.

The place feels like it is well past its prime with a lot of the animals on display in poor display cages but the animals themselves look reasonably well-cared for. There is suposedly a zipline and water sports area but both were very small and no one was on them when we visited.

There is a place to eat and drink which has a good view over the coast. Whilst we didn't eat, what other people were eating looked reasonably good.

The owners of the farm have done a good job to raise funds by commercialising it and a lot of people were leaving with trays of eggs. They charge an entrance fee but it looks like a lot of people are happy to pay it.

I wouldn't recommend this if you're a seasoned traveller and looking for something that is a good representation of the Philippines.

I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't care for the bad smell coming from the farm, and highly welcomes the ascension and the scenes on top. A must visit if you're in Iloilo!

Located just 1km from the main road. A lot of carinderias (eateries) lined outside the entrance area, but there's a restaurant inside that offers variety of dishes in their menu.

You can either walk to the restaurant which is a bit far and located on a higher ground, or you can take the golf cart for a minimum fee. We chose the golf cart since we can't stand the smell of the farm animals along the way.

As we were eating, we were fortunate to witness the parade of goats and parade of turkeys which was just a few meters away from our table. It was fascinating to see animals line up to get their food.

In going to the pilgrimage site, you can either go up thru the staircase or ride the golf cart again. Again, we opted to ride in going up and take the staircase in going down. Nice scenery at the top overlooking the coastline of San Joaquin. More religious figures were there to take photo with.

There are a lot of activities to do there like zipline and kayak and paddle boat. My girls did the zipline.

Quite expensive for the entrance, but consider it as maintainance for the farm animals despite the owner earning a lot already from the produce.

Very interesting place to stay. The rooms with the garden view are nice and unique. Have an extensive menu selection for food though sometimes they don't have some food items available. Expected more from the farm though. The Ascension was a unique experience and one-of-a-kind view. I think one night stay is enough though. Good place to find peace and quiet.

Good: The ascension and the scene is very interesting. The food is good and cheap.

Bad: The animals conditions are horrible... (Small cages, not healthy...).

We had fun with the stairway for around 400+ steps. It such a good experience for both of us. The view on top is really amazing! I love the goat milk!

For me, there is not that much to do in this place other than to walk up the hill and see the view from above of San Joaquin.

As we do not prefer to walk a long way up, we availed of the golf cart. The cashier was not able to give us the ticket. We only knew that it was needed when we were already being asked before they give us a ride. And so i went back to ask for it but the lady is insisting that we didn’t pay. I am very sure that we did. I told her that she might have overlooked that she did not issue us a ticket as she was on the phone while transacting us. I told them they can even review the CCTV as proof. We waited for a long time until finally they issued us a ticket with a frown on her face without any apology.

To make the matter worse, upon going back to the pavilion, we were about to leave already. They called us again just to insist that they give a ticket which is not seen at the CCTV review. They were just basing it to the act that something was handed over (which was our change as we gave 100 pesos). In an appropriate tone of voice, the lady keeps on insisting. I told her that I would just pay again if i need to so we can already go. The other lady then says just let it go, it’s not necessary as clearly on the CCTV review, we paid. But to make me even more disappointed, I learned that they accepted an additional payment from my friend.

Truly, this has ruined our Iloilo experience.
