This was a nice place, though we did not get to see the wine making, as it was closed for maintenance. We got to taste some of the wines and food was also arranged there for us. We bought some wines from there.

I was finally able to find an answer to my dying question - should one put red wine in the fridge after it had been opened? Of course not - and I am glad that Areni winery helped me confirm this. On top of that,...More

When you take the tours, the guides will probably let you see the winemaking process here. The facility itself is not bad. Everything is up to the standard, clean and the staff are nice. However, the wine here was one of the worst ones that...More

They are right next door to hin areni winery, though they are unrelated. The tasting is free and they have many different types of wine, fruit wines and brandy. Didn't love the wines but worth trying

Quick and cheap tour of the winery (a great and informative tour.) Comes with wine tasting. Buy and extra glass or two or take a bottle home. Short visit but well worth it.

The place was sparse and frequented mostly by gaggles of tourists. Wine seemed so so, but they have some locally made liquor that you can buy that might be of an interest (but they don't sell in a nicely bottled format). There's not much to...More
