The memorial is well positioned and never very crowded making it a great place to sit and look out over the city.

If you want to start hiking this is the place to start your first hike. A slight climb then you walk on a flat track around the mountain. You are bound to be passed by cyclists. Awesome view of Woodstock, Grooteschuur Hospital and far north....More

The tea shop is a bit expensive but does serve good size portions ( try the scones !!)

The views from this memorial are amazing! The Rhodes Memorial is situated at the bottom of Table Mountains and from this high altitude presents wonderful views of Cape Town.
The sheer size of the sculpture work is phenomenal.
