The sculpture park is situated near Norsjo at Akkerhaugen. This is Norway's first sculpture park for contemporary art. Most of the sculptures are replaced every year, and there is an annual opening event. Access: Sign posted on the RV360 at Akkerhaugen. Telephone (Cultural Affairs Office) 35958100. Wheelchair and baby stroller accessible, beautiful recreational area.

The park is a nice walk during winter, however, it is excellent in summer. Bring your kids with you for sunbathing and a swim! In winter for a short visit, in summer spend some hours!

Patmos is situated where River Saua enters Lake Norsjø, and is a peaceful, green spot with sculptures scattered aroünd. Also, it is a nice place to stop for a pinic, and / or a swim from the nice, sandy beach, which is also suitable for...More
