The Marble Caves and The Atlantic Road combine this with a trip to the Atlantic road, one of the world’s best road trips. The highway zigzags across bridgesand islands, to the point where the land and the ocean meet the fjord. Explore the mystical Marble caves at Naas! The caves are a result of mining operations since 1938. In others parts of the mountain, the mining operation is still ongoing.

Enjoyed our short visit to the caves. Started with an electric boat ride through the caverns, complete with soft lighting and appropriate music as we cruised the crystal clear waters. This was followed by a film showing how the caverns were excavated for the mining...More

It's very interesting, but could be a little shorter. There were films and then a boat ride. The whole thing shouldn't be more than an hour....

Visited here as a tour from a cruise ship. It was an amazing experience. The boat ride although short was brilliant. The crystal clear the water is stunning. The tour was very informative and it’s impressive how the marble mine is being used for other...More

We took the Hurtigruten organised tour to visit the marble mines, so the itinerary may be slightly different for other groups. We arrived at the mine by coach, having followed a very scenic route from Kristiansund, with an excellent guide. We literally drove into the...More

Very nice experience. Both the consert and the safe way to get there. The trip with the boat was also nice. Best regards Eva-Britt and Kjartan..Valvåg/Sjursen

As part of a tour, we visited the Bergtatt Marble Caves. Not exactly sure what we were to see, we found it all to be very informative. This is a privately owned enterprise, and the history and future of the caves is a tribute to...More

Today, I visited the Bergtatt Marble Caves, this is still a working mine, BUT, some of the Tunnels has been converted to a lighted water way - Beautiful & there is also a large area for entertainment. Fantastic, I will be back. Thanks.

It is a exiting place to go to a concert. The boat trip is also speculative. I think the adventure for me would be a lot higher with more information about the mines.
