Calaguas is definitely worth the trip -- and more. Imagine unexplored paradise which you can visit with no plane ride. Very nice powdery sand at Mahabang Buhangin Beach, aqua clear blue waters, & did I fail to mention the fresh and amazing seafood? My wife and I could not believe a place like this exists. You have to experience this to believe it. So much better than many over rated beaches in the Philippines. Super Thanks to Allan Vega of Calaguas Paradise Travel & Tours for such a relaxing and refreshing weekend. We will be back with our friends for sure.

Spent 3 days 2 nights here, if you are facing the island, we stayed on the right part near the rock formations. There are cottages and tents for rent, when you walk farther inside the island, there are more spaces for tents to pitch and a deep well pump can be found nearby. A paid toilet and shower room is also available near by it.
We opted to bring our food and cooking utensils as we enjoy preparing food ourselves. You can also avail the package where everything is prepared for you, from your cottage and tents up to the complete meal for the rest of the day, I guess boat transfer is also included in this package.

You can explore the beach from end to end and you will see a lot of different accommodations from cheap cottages to air conditioned villas. Small stores are spread out in the beach and you can easily buy some basic needs for your stay in the island.

There are also volleyball nets in the beach where you can play at, I also seen some kayak boats you can rent. Mostly you can do here is enjoy the water and swim, preferably in the morning.

Make sure your belongings are packed inside big plastic bags as sometimes boat rides are rough you will get wet and your belongings, be sure to prepare yourself before going there.

White sand and blue, clear water make this a gorgeous beach. Fewer people know about this place so there are no crowds like Boracay. Aside from the beach, you can hike on nearby hills to get a better view of the beach. This is how Boracay was when I first went there 30 years ago. Better come here before Calaguas becomes too popular.

I have been to Boracay and Subic, Bataan, Batangas, Quezon, they pale in comparison. Calaguas beach has the cleanest shore, the finest sand, the clearest water! I just died and went to heaven. no foreigners in sight for a change. i hope they take care of the unspoilt beauty so that is does not end a sad story.

Travelled to Daet from Alabang by bus, craziest bus ride, the sharp curves are unforgettable, its like Baguio zigzag times 10!!! left Alabang 8pm, arrived in Daet before 4am.
most beautiful beach ever been to (including boracay, bataan, subic, batangas and quezon beaches) its unspoilt beauty is fantastic. we rented tents and slept under the stars. no foreigner in sight- ubiquitous koreans, or caucasians or other asians, for a change. finest sand, clearest water, no garbage- lets hope it stays that way! love love it!
Took a 2 hour boat ride to island. we rented tents and bus fare , meals included, total package fee was 2500- booked online.

Island hopped to Balagbag island in the afternoon, was like being in Batanes!!! highly recommend the trip, so much worth it!

We were a group of 13 who made a day trip to the island, setting off from Jose Panganiban.on February 18. It was our 2nd visit to the island. Previously we were there about 5 years ago.

Our tour was organised for us by the Tourism Officer in Panganiban Town Hall, Ruth. She is very helpful and professional. It was an official organised tour. We were accompanied by a team who prepared our lunch as well as ensuring the trip was safe.

The boat trip took 2 hours in a slightly rough sea.We arrived about 9am and left at 3pm.

On arriving at the Island, we were immediately met by the absolutely beautiful blue sea and soft, fine sand. It is like paradise.

There has been a lot of construction since our last visit but it is tastefully done, blending into the trees.

The beach was lovely and clean. There were many tour groups there but it was not overcrowded.

We spent the day swimming and wandering along the beach.

On the way home, we visited one of the adjoining islands nearby.

The whole place is delightful.

A fantastic beach. No small stones at all. Completely soft, pure sand.

The combination of the beach, clear blue water and a lovely blue sky is perfect.

This is 2 kilometers long with powdery white sand and clear blue water. It was a joy just to look at the beach. The fine white sand gently massages your feet when you walk on it. Located between green hills, it makes a pretty picture indeed.

My family climbed the hills for a better view of the beach. The hike is easy. I couldn't do it though, since I have a problem with my leg.

There are several places to stay on the beach. The most well known is WalingWaling at one end. There is no electricity but the place we stayed at ran a generator at night for air conditioning.

It is wise to bring a power bank for your cell phone and gadgets. You can only use your phone for taking pictures though. There is no phone signal on the island. There was a place that offered to charge phones for a fee.

We came from Masbate Palani-Balud, Bituon-Mobo beaches & Ticao Island Altamar & Halea-Monreal beaches and thought of going to Calaguas, Camarines Norte before heading home to NCR.

I came across Malayan Tourist Inn 09175483593 in Paracale town where we slept for P2,500.00 (3 double beds, w aircon, private CR, ref, tv & dining cum receiving area) & safely parked our car. We asked for referral for boat transfer to Calaguas.

8Our trip was arranged by Mark Gil Zamudio 09129209848 for 2k/head for day tour (830am departure fr Paracale & 3pm trans out fr Calaguas) special trip w/ brunch, lunch, heavy snacks, boat & tricycle transfers & other envi fee.

Paracale port is the best jumpoff point to Calaguas because it is barely 1.5hr one way boat ride-way shorter than Vinzons which as we were told is 3hr boat ride to Calaguas.

Mark's crew including his mom Nanay Helen took very good care of us and our kids. The service and the food were great. The beach was perfect.
