Needless to say, everything in Siberia that's out in the nature is covered with mosquitoes. Sometimes they for a black cloud around you so do take precautions when you come out to this monument as there is nothing around where you can buy any repellent...More

This spot has been set up as a fun tourist attraction. There is a fence for tying ribbons for luck and a monument with a line drawn in front so that visitors can stand with one foot in Asia and one in Europe.

The monument marks the border between Europe and Asia. Everyone loves taking photos with one feet planted in the European side and the other on the Asian side. The people who drive on this stretch are very friendly. They don't mind stopping till you finish...More

I think bus #180 goes there but any minibus that goes to Pervouralsk could drop you there. Communication is nearly impossible with the drives unless you speak russian so you might want to print out an image of the obelisk... More
