In Casa Herradura you get the best guided Tequila tour ever! Our guide talked about the history of this brand, about the place, the process how Tequila is done and at the end also a degustation of different Tequilas. This place is still very rustic...More

This was a great stop in our day visit to Tequila! I had been to other Tequila distilleries before but this one is definitely worth the stop. First the new distillery of large and modern. It has some agave fields on site so you can...More

An excellent way to spend the day! The drinks were bottomless, but the cocktails were not too strong so I was able to try all of them without feeling too drunk or sick. For the heavier drinker, you could also keep ordering as many shots...More

The Herradura Express was an amazing time and reason alone to go to Mexico. The train picks you up in Guadalajara and there are three different type of cars you can pick between. We picked the club car, that has a large bar, couches, and...More

Casa Herradura is a nice experience and it’s a must if you are interested to understand the Mexican culture. It’s located in a little town between Guadalajara and Nayarit. The guide tour could be for small or big groups ( my group was 40 visitors).

In depth, knowledgeable staff who have worked the property for generations. We were given a tour of the grounds, kilns, fields, stills and cellars and invited to taste agave and several tequilas. A bit less touristy than the Jose Cuervo tour.

There are a couple of ways to experience Tequila – you can drive yourself or hire a driver, or you can take one of the Tequila trains run by the larger tequila makers – Herradura, Cuervo, and Sauza. We tried both ways, both times at...More

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The distillery was able to accommodate a private tour in English. Our tour guide, Alex, gave us a detailed history of the making of Tequila on this property that dates back to 1870’s. We were able...More

The welcome, setting and tour at Casa Herradura never fails to disappoint. I recently took friends there on what is probably my fourth visit. We went independently by Uber from Guadalajara, although I have also done it by bus from the old bus station in...More

You can probably contact them through their website. Christmas day is very important in Mexico and spent with family, I doubt it will be open on the 25th.

I took Uber to get there as it is cheaper than other taxi services in Mexico. To return to the city the employees at the front desk will help you call a cab. You can also ask your tour guide...don't forget to tip him :)

When I was there, the tour started at 10 or 10:15AM. Maybe you want to arrive before 10am?
