The famous Lord Shiv Temple near Dharamshala is Baijnath. Dates to the 13th century this beautiful old temple is one that you should not miss. Lots of beautiful sculptures and very powerful. Try and go for the early morning arti when there are less pilgrims.

Its a very ancient temple. It is said that Ravana halted here to take rest while he was carrying Shivji to Lanka. Nice garden in the premises. Beautiful view of river and Dhauladhar hills.
