In Murchison Falls national park, you'll find Budongo forest. We were briefed before we started our trek, and it all felt safe. Not that we were scared at any time. The trek can take as much time as you want, but of course within some...More

Seeing the chimpanzees was an absolute treat and well worth trekking out in the rain for, but it would have been nice if the guide had appreciated the fact that we were soaked and saved some of his explanations for the end- back in the...More

After 5,5 hours tracking the chimps, we left Budongo Forest and we didn't see any chimpanzee. Maybe we were unlucky, but I think that if you want to be sure to see chimps, this is not the best option and would be better you can...More

It is just amazing to walk through the forest, and then be amongst a huge family of chimps going about their daily routines, and calling out to each other, walking across the path 10 meters in front of you, caring for babies, grooming.

We were not expecting to see chimpanzees as we 'only' booked a jungle walk. Hearing the chimps our guide however lead us to them and we had an amazing experience. The rest of the jungle walk was equally good as our guide was very knowledgeable...More
