Was worth the visit for the beautiful panoramic views. We took the van from Praça lido (bear in mind that the buses don’t leave that frequently- we had to wait and hour). Lots of people as expected at the top but still plenty of room...More

Never before have I ever been in awe of a statue that just took my breath away. Hiking up to the to the top and looking over Rio de Janeiro was just amazing... chills up and down my body.. a must see

The views of Rio de Janeiro from up on the viewing area were fantastic. A must do is the little chapel in the back of the statue and on the way back down stop off the tram to see the large tree, the souvenir shop...More

Awesome statue with amazing views of the city. You can really only appreciate this statue by being on the platform with it. The views on a clear day are inspiring. I highly recommend getting a early access tour to spend more time near the statue...More

You cannot miss this when in Rio. Access by interesting train ride through the national park. Can get vey busy so advise going as early as possible. Stunning views from the site of the statue.

Obviously when in Rio de Janeiro you must visit. Go on a clear day and in the afternoon just before sunset, it's less busy then. Don't go on a Sunday. The place is packed with locals visiting. Take the train up to the the top....More
