This park has a beautiful swimming area with multiple entries and s large dock on the other side. Boats do pull up to dock so it can get crowded. Really rice picnic area. Lots of tables.

This is a good place to take a walk along a beautiful river. We enjoyed photographing the river and the pond.

Fanning Springs is one of many of Florida's gorgeous springs along the Suwannee River. Manatees come into the warm water near the Spring on cold winter nights and this was so when we were there. The water is crystal clear. One thing about it that...More

Stayed overnight here in a cabin for a very reasonable off season rate. The electric fireplace remorte didn't work, but that was a small thing. The cabin was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I wondered why the porch was screened in until I got up in...More

Right on the banks of the Suwanee River, offers river fishing and swimming in the springs. Something for every member of your family or group! Classic Florida with Spanish moss and live oaks.

This is a very beautiful park. Had the weather been warmer, we would have wanted to swim and snorkel in the springs. There is a nice little walk to the river. When we were there, the air was so cold that the springs AND the...More

Absolutely beautiful stop. Crystal clear. Wonderful family place. Great at any age and water is accessible to anyone in any condition. The boardwalk is just as wonderful as the spring. It will bring you to one huge (actually two that became one) bald cypress. The...More

We've swam in this spring several times in the past when passing through this area and decided to take another quick dip in the springs to cool off on a steamy summer day (prior to the afternoon showers). To cool off in a beautiful spring...More

The water stays a constant 72 year round, so that depends on you. We went to Silver Glen Springs yesterday and snorkled - no wet suits. We were good until we got out.
