Silver Beach was one of our favourite beaches on Samui. Great little restaurants, nice sand, and calm shallow waters. We visited this beach several times and highly recommend it. It is very family friendly - lots of kids.

excellent for swimming and the beax=ch lives up to its name. It's sandy and has white sand. You can snorkel or swim in the sea. Not crowded at all.

The palm trees and rounded rocks are a lovely backdrop. You cannot see the beach from the main road. Sometimes the locals will come on the beach with some cooked food to sell. The massages on the beach are cheaper than the main resorts. The...More

During our last visit to Samui we went to silver beach as everywhere else beaches were very dirty. This beach was amazing on the northern part, with wonderful waters, clean and clear and you could swim easily. The southern part however had shallow waters and...More

This is a gorgeous beach. Soft sand, shallow water easy to snorkel in. Very picturesque. The water is calm, good for younger kids. Sadly, this beach is getting ruined by tourists. There was lots of garbage in the sand and hidden among the big rocks...More

Enter the beach through a hotel restaurant. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with the soft, white sand between your toes and the tropical green scenery in the background. I had my first snorkelling experience event here and it was an ideal location. The water is clear...More

It is probably the best beach in the island.it is clean and very beautiful. We came there with our children’s and they had the time of their life. Lots of happy people alongside children’s and every one can find spot to do their business.

Get out of the Chaweng beach clubs and head down the coast a bit further. A nice bar with a good range of food and a beach that has no hawkers and no crowds. Relaxing.

you really need to get on a boat and visit the islands. generally there is no good off-beach snorkelling in Koh Samui. same goes for Kao Lak - you need to go to the Similan or Surin islands.
