Open to the public from mid-May to mid-October, Seafoam Lavender Company & Gardens is a small, family-owned/operated "experiential tourism" destination for visitors of all ages. Located in a park-like setting on Nova Scotia's scenic Northumberland Shore, Seafoam Lavender is a delight for the senses. With sweeping views of the Northumberland Strait (and Prince Edward Island in the distance), guests can meander through the 3,000+ lavender plants; enjoy a self-guided tour; and see the 65 different products we make on-site. Guided tours are available for groups of six or more. (Sorry, due to Health Department and insurance regulations, pets are not permitted on the farm.)

We stopped and enjoyed the little shop and discovered, lavender and rose, lavender and lemon, lavender and peppermint. Lots of ways to use lavender from culinary to cosmetic. A great stop.

We happened to drop by on a special occasion. Lots of cars, people, activities. The lavender is beautiful and so many things made from it in the gift shop. Reasonable prices. Not a long visit but ok.

A nice stop along the highway to get out and stretch our legs and learn about lavender. The walk around the gardens isn't too long and there is a gift shop which had wares for sale (although not many edible items which would have rounded...More

Usually mid-July, but it's all weather-contingent. The best thing to do is follow our weekly Facebook postings (beginning in June) which give a status report on the status of the plants. :)
