Middle of Indonesia to find a pine forest!Very unusual. It’s only a 30-40 minutes drive from town and well worth a visit. Something different for local tourists and a interesting place for westerners. Wisata Seribu Batu is nearby.

I thought that Hutan Pinus covers everything that i saw on photos etc. But alas, it were segregated into few pit stops or entrances with seperate payment and different views. So choose what you want to see and go direct to that pit stop. Unless...More

I would recommend a visit here as compared to the other pine forest (Imogiri) as there are more photo zones to take photos. Best to visit during sunset as it will be super beautiful! Sadly it rained during my visit so the sky and forest...More

hmmm... i think it's quite tough to bring your mom with a wheelchair here. The footpath is quite rocky and mostly soil... i would not recommend it for you grandma's safety
