This is a tour around Flam in a Toy train. It takes you around the village through the stream shows schools and a few scenic spots. Nothing great or extra ordinary but you get a good feel of the city

Got the small train for a 45 minute ride, costs about £15 per person taking in sites in Flam from the river to flam church( 17 century)also takes you to side of flam to get good views of your ship.

We were unable to purchase tickets for the railway so were faced with the prospect of having a day in Flam itself. We saw this Little Train and decided that it could be quite a good way of passing some time. We purchased tickets for the next available train and then went shopping whilst we waited. The tour was really good. Lots of information and we got to see a lot more of the outskirts of Flam than we would have done. It was interesting seeing the houses, railway, school, church and so on. Would recommend if you have a few hours spare.

this road train was very busy and as the seating is very badly designed, not ideal for a 14st 6 foot male!! the journey was fairly interesting but compared to the similar journey we took the next day in Olden, not an essential trip.

An absolute rip-off! It is a 35-40 minutes out and back trip along the river past the old Flam Church without so much as a pause for photos, let alone chance to walk around it. The walk from Flam is a very easy, flat and pleasant 3km one which we had already done, but expected at least a bit of narrative on the train (which we took just kill an hour waiting for the ferry). The incoherent audio tape was absolutely uninformative, and repeated the same inane comments several times. This is obviously a cynical little tour to capture the hordes who arrive on the cruise boats - save your money and take the stroll - you can at least then view the old Church properly.
