Motorable road available upto janki chhetti to visit yamunotri. There many hotels, restaurants in jankichetti. Two GMVC guest houses also available but there is no standby arrangement present incase of power failure. Power failure is a common problem in jankichetti. Only stay in gmvc guest...More

Be prepare for weather changes at any time,so take cloths both for winter and monsoon.start early and walk only if u r physically fit otherwise take other options.good food available on route.
