A rock close to temple. One need to worship divyashila first before entering to temple. Its not mandate but a ritual and process of pooja.

Offered our prayers there and saw the have bath in hot spring. All the tiredness is waned and feel rejuvenated.

Divyashila is a rock. Before entering Yamunotri temple you must perform pooja at divyashila rock area.

Near to the Surya Kund there is a Shila (stone) called Divya Shila. As per the rituals this Divya Shula is worshipped before puja is offered to the deity. Devotees prepare rice and potatoes, tied in muslin cloth, to offer at the shrine by dipping them...More

It was amazing to see the divya shila,we offered our prayers there and saw the hot spring from where the yamuna descends,The water there is at boiling point. you can see the water bubbling and boiling.
