Our visit was off season as I understood. Whilst the water levels were low, we viewed it from a vantage point on our way up to the Nelliyampathi Hills and it was breath taking.

This place is very calm and quite. The dam is surrounded by mountains and the garden is very well maintained and beautiful. Mind getting fresh and you feel very happy.

The views of the reservoir and dam are very nice but the tourist management could be a lot better. Parking is haphazard and there is overcrowding near the gate, often blocking the road. Garbage disposal needs to be enforced despite the warnings.
